And that's a wrap for ARC25

Wow! Didn't LBIRC turn it on for the Australian Rowing Championships!

And to cap off a week of great rowing, Tasmania's lightweight women reclaimed the Victoria Cup in the Interstate Regatta on the final day of competition.

The LW4x crew of Imogen Stewart, Sophie Robinson, Phoebe Teale and Verayna Zilm (s), coached by Abbie Crow, finished the race two boat-lengths clear of Victoria, with WA finishing third.

The Interstate Regatta also saw Tasmania's LM4- of Sam Casey, Laurie Dean, Angus Paynter and Oscar Birtwistle (s), coached by Jacob Crow, on the podium with a silver-medal finish in the Penrith Cup, just 1.02s behind gold medal winner Victoria, with NSW third.

Our club and school rowers put in some strong performances at the ARC, with many A finals contested and 30 medals won.

Tasmanian rowers made up half the field in the SG1x A Final and two of our "mighty lightie"  women's State crew grabbed the top two spots on the athlete individual medal table!

Rowing Tasmania congratulates all our athletes, coaches and their support crew on being part of the Australian Rowing Championships.

As always, many of our regular volunteers and BROs put in an enormous number of hours to help RA keep things running smoothly.

And some of them featured in RA's ARC25 Volunteer of the Day segment - Harold Bain and Vanessa Morris and Brook Teale. Just click on the names to read their stories.
