Facelift for our website

You may have noticed some changes on the Rowing Tasmania website that are aimed at enhancing user experience.

We are now using a drop-down menu for Regattas & Events to make navigation more user-friendly.

The live calendar, which includes all Rowing Tasmania regattas, alongside national regattas, can be accessed by clicking on the Calendar drop-down.

All other events, such as camps, meetings, coach and athlete development sessions, and training opportunities can be found under the Upcoming Events section.

There's also a new look for our Policies, Documents & Forms section, which can be found under the About tab.

A newer section under the Community tab is the Community Business Register.

Be sure to visit the Register and see which businesses have been listed. There's also a link to the form to complete should you wish to have your business added.

Please bear with us as we continue with the website update.

Registrations are now open for September's Level 2 Coaching Practical Workshop.

The workshop at New Town Bay Rowing Centre from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday, September 7, will be presented by John Driessen and Paul Newbon.

The changing water levels at Lake Barrington

Lake Barrington was created in the 1970s when Devils Gate Dam was built and is a run-of-river storage in the Mersey-Forth hydro generation scheme.

But why do the water levels change at Lake Barrington? Hydro Tasmania provides the details in this What's that about? document.

You can check on the water levels of all Tasmania's lakes here.
