ARC25 breaks records | State Team announced
Entries for ARC25 are closed and it's officially a record-breaking event!
With the most entries (1829 on closing), and seats (5620) in its history, this will be the biggest Australian Rowing Championships ever!
No doubt the opportunity to race on our spectacular Lake Barrington International Rowing Course has played a big part in luring 2129 athletes to Tasmania for the event from March 24-30.
Rowing Tasmania this week announced those athletes and coaches selected in the State Team to represent Tasmania in the 2025 Interstate Regatta on Sunday, March 30.
If you missed the announcement you can click here for the list of rowers and coaches who will represent our state. Congratulations to all!
We'd like to wish all our participating rowers and coaches every success as they represent Rowing Tasmania, their clubs and their schools at the ARC. Make the best of our home water advantage!

Don't ignore this important message!

2025 Head of the River
SATIS schools will converge on LBIRC tomorrow (March 15) for the 2025 Head of the River Regatta.
Twelve independent schools from across the state will compete for bragging rights, with the Schoolgirls and Schoolboys 8+ marquee events the final races of the day.
And please remember to follow the speed limits as you travel to the Lake. In particular, the 60kmh limit through the small town of Roland.
If you can't be there but want to stay up with the action, follow the Live Results on the Rowing Tasmania website.
Tasmanian Club Championships wrap-up

Great racing, great weather, great regatta! Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the 2025 Bonney Energy Tasmanian Club Championships at LBIRC last weekend.
There were plenty of praise-worthy performances, and it was fantastic to see championship trophies and shields shared across so many of our clubs and schools.
Rowing Tasmania also recognises the coaches, supporters and volunteers who contributed to the success and atmosphere of the regatta.
If you haven't done so already, check out the pictures from the weekend on our Facebook page.
You can find the full results from the Club Champs here

Tasmania University Boat Club had a double success for the 2024-2025 season, claiming the Pennant (631 points) and Hydro Cup (469.25) points ahead of Buckingham and North Esk in both competitions.
The Schools' Cup went to the Friends' School with 432 points ahead of Hutchins.
You can find the final Pennant Points results here.

Ten Days on the Island Arts Festival event
Tasmania is a busy place over the week of the Australian Rowing Championships at LBIRC.
The Ten Days on the Island Arts Festival is taking place around the State between March 21-30. If you're looking for a break from the rowing (really!?), one of the Festival events, Music is the Colour of My Skin, is on at Gowrie Park on Saturday 29th March.
For tickets and more about the evening with Grammy award-winning artist and pedal steel guitarist Lucky Oceans, and acclaimed composer and performer David Milroy, click here.
