Interstate Regatta success!

The Interstate Regatta is the final hurrah of the week-long Australian Rowing Championships - and didn't our lighties do us proud at Penrith!

Tasmania's lightweight crews claimed gold in the Penrith Cup (Angus Paynter, Oscar Birtwistle, Laurie Dean, Alec Paterson, coach: Jacob Crow) and silver in the Victoria Cup (Phoebe Teale, Sophie Robinson, Anneka Reardon, Verayna Zilm, coaches: Abbie Crow & Paul Newbon). Tassie last won the Penrith Cup in 2012.

The more than 150 rowers who represented Rowing Tasmania's clubs and affiliated schools put in some strong performances at the ARC, from March 18-24, at Sydney International Regatta Centre with numerous A finals contested and a range of medals won.

You can check out Tasmania's ARC medal summary on on our website.

Congratulations to ALL Rowing Tasmania athletes and coaches on their performances at ARC 2024.

Rowing Tasmania is excited to announce a new partnership with Bonney Energy - naming rights sponsor for the 2025 Tasmanian Club Championships!

Bonney Energy is a trusted distributor of Ampol fuels and Mobil lubricant products, with the company’s head office located at Quoiba, near Devonport, and a branch office in Launceston.

As our rowing community would be aware, it takes hundreds of litres of fuel to run our business and regattas with the biggest users – our umpire and rescue boats and on-road vehicles - covering thousands of kilometres on our rivers and Lake Barrington and on the road each season.

Rowing Tasmania thanks Bonney Energy for its support and we encourage our rowing community to support our partners.

WELCOME BONNEY ENERGY!
