Making Rowing Safer in Tasmania

The updated Making Rowing Safer in Tasmania document has been released.

Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) and Rowing Tasmania work collaboratively to help provide safety management information to the Tasmanian rowing community.

This important safety document is available here and on the Rowing Tasmania website (About | Policies, Documents & Forms).

Rowing Tasmania encourages clubs, schools, coaches, rowers, and other parties to make time to familiarise themselves with this document.

Safety on the water is everyone's responsibility!

Head of the Huon - don't miss the excitement!

It's on this weekend!

The 8km long-distance inaugural Head of the Huon begins at Franklin and ends at the Huonville Bridge and is on this Sunday.

You might be on the water as a rower or official ... you might be on the bank or bridge as a spectator ... JUST BE THERE!!!!

You can view HotH entries, bulletin and rules here. The first boat is scheduled to start at 8am.

The workshops are ideal for club administrators, coaches, athletes and volunteers with up-to-date information on asthma and its management within the sports setting.
