Vale Patrick. M. McGuffie (Pat)

It is with great sadness that the President and Board of Rowing Tasmania Inc. would like to advise of the passing of a respected Life Member, Administrator and Boat Race Official, Pat McGuffie.

Pat attended a function on Saturday at Lake Barrington and spent the evening reminiscing with his rowing family from the past and present, sadly in the early hours of Sunday morning Pat became ill and passed away peacefully in the presence of good friends.

As per Pat’s wishes there will be a private service and cremation.

Pat was a long time servant of the sport of rowing and contributed in many facets to the sport which was a major part of this life.

Rest in Peace.
