Hannah Meg Goddard

RIP

Rowing Tasmania was very sad to hear of the passing of Hannah Goddard after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Hannah was a wonderfully gifted all round athlete in orienteering, netball and rowing.

Hannah rowed with Scotch Oakburn College and was a very talented oarswomen and a respected and loved crew member.  After her initial diagnosis , Hannah showed great courage and determination throughout her treatment and provided a lasting legacy for all  because of her selfless attitude and positive and caring nature.

At this very sad time, everyone the Tasmanian Rowing Community would like to send our thoughts and prayers to her parents Jenny and Rob, brother Tom Goddard and their extended family and friends after the passing of their daughter.

Hannah will be privately cremated at her own request and a celebration of Hannah’s life will be held in ‘Our Olive Grove’, 121 Saunders Drive Hadspen, on Sunday, 15th December 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

Hannah’s life will also be celebrated at St Mary’s College, Melbourne in January 2020.
