Rowing Tasmania 109th Annual General Meeting

The Rowing Tasmania 109th Annual General Meeting & Trophy Presentations were held at the North Esk Rowing Club with over 100 people in attendance.

Mr. James Gibson OAM chaired the AGM and the Annual Report was presented the Member Club Delegates and the observers.

Mr. Peter George and Ms. Meaghan Volker did not nominate and we thank them for their service on the Board.

Ms. Rachel Kitson and Mr. Mick Casey were elected unopposed to the Board.

James Gibson OAM notified the Board of his resignation as both Chair and as Director after many years or service both as Finance Director, President and Chair, James will continue on heading up the Lake Barrington Management Commitee.

James has overseen many positive changes within the sport and also at the Lake and his efforts and time spent have been and are greatly appreciated by the rowing communities both in Tasmania and Nationally.

At the first meeting of the new Board Mr. Tim Morris was elected as the Chair of Rowing Tasmania Inc.
