After the Update from the Premier and Public Health last Friday the 18th, Rowing Tasmania has spoken with Public Health Tasmania and asked for clarification on the requirements to wear masks at the Club Regattas #3 and #4 plus Schools #1.
On the Regatta Grounds (and within the Lake Barrington Internationals Rowing Precinct.)
- Masks will be required to be worn by all unless you are eating or drinking or have an exemption.
- One hour after the LAST race masks will not be required to be worn.

When the athlete(s) are at the racks/trestles and are to go “Hands On “to take the boat to be launched masks can be removed and when the boats are returned the racks/trestles, after the race, and the athletes are “Hands Off’ masks are to be put on.
Note:
- If your mask is wet it may lose its effectiveness please put on a new one and dispose of the old mask.
- BRO, volunteer, boat drivers and scouts that are on water are not required to wear a mask.
