Mariners are advised three boreholes will be drilled on the River Tamar in an area between the Tamar Rowing Club on the western side of the River to Kings Park, between the Tamar Yacht Club and the Paterson Street Bridge on the eastern side.
The drill barge will be appropriately lit at night and will be anchored in position using four yellow buoys lit with strobe lights to mark the drill area. The yellow buoys will be 50m apart upstream and downstream and 70m apart across the River.
Only one borehole will be drilled at any one time. Drilling will commence on 14 July and should be completed by 22 July 2021.
