New Constitution

Rowing Tasmania held a Special General Meeting at the New Town Bay Rowing Center on Friday the 21st  June 2019 to put forward a motion for the adoption of a  new Constitution as recommended by the Rowing Tasmania Committee.

 

The evening was attended by 41 members of Rowing Tasmania and of those 39 were eligible to vote and the motion was passed unanimously.

On behalf of the President James Gibson OAM and the current Board  we would like to thank the members of our sport who were actively involved in the stake holder workshops, those who made submissions of the draft documents and those who attended the SGM.

 

Rowing Tasmania would also like to acknowledge the work of Julian Joscelyne who led this project on behalf of the Rowing Tasmania Committee plus Leigh Oswin and Sarah Mogridge from Communities Sport and Recreation Tasmania  who were both an invaluable resource.
