Just a reminder email that entries into the 2016 Sydney International Rowing Regatta, including the Australian Open Rowing Championships and Australian Open Schools Rowing Championships, are closing on Monday 29^th February, 11.59pm AEDT – just 10 days away!  I strongly encourage you to get your entries in sooner rather than later, to ensure that any potential issues can be solved by the deadline – late entries will not be accepted.  All entries are through Regatta Central - https://www.regattacentral.com/regatta/index.jsp?section=overview&job_id=4511&org_id=4017. 

As previously announced, Rowing Australia are excited for the addition of some new events into the racing schedule:

• Men’s and Women’s Club Eights, following the continued growth of the existing Club Doubles and Fours
• Interstate Leg’s, Trunk and Arms Single Sculls into the program for King’s and Queen’s Cups Interstate Regatta, to provide additional representative opportunities to para-athletes
• 500m Sprint Events, over Masters, Schools, University and Open categories – please click here for more information and frequently asked questions.

A reminder that the Indicative Race Schedule and SIRR Bulletin 2 is available through the event website - http://www.rowingdownunder.org/index.php.  Tickets are now also on-sale through Ticketek - http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=ROWING16.
