2022/23 season – vacant positions
ROWING COACH
Launceston Grammar are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Rowing Coach, from U13 through to Open boys and girls crews, on as casual or volunteer basis to join our highly dedicated and accomplished team at our Senior Campus.
Applicants will have
- Extensive experience as a participant in rowing
- Experience in rowing coaching would be considered desirable
- Coaching qualifications and certificates to rowing are highly regarded, but not essential
- First aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Educational and Care Setting, is desirable but not essential
- Current motorboat licence, training can be supported if needed
Applicants are expected to support the ethos and values of an independent Anglican School.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – BOAT SHED MANAGER
Launceston Grammar are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Boatshed Manager on a permanent part-time basis to join our highly dedicated and accomplished rowing team at our Senior Campus.
The Boatshed Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Launceston Grammar rowing boats and equipment are well maintained and able to be used daily throughout the rowing season, thereby ensuring safe participation at rowing regattas and compliance with health and safety expectations.
Applicants will have
- Practical trade experience in a relevant area of expertise e.g. mechanical repairs is desirable
- Personal attributes including dependability, integrity, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability/flexibility, concern for others and cooperation.
- current registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania), or be eligible for registration
- First aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Educational and Care Setting, is desirable but not essential
- Current driver’s licence,
- Current motorboat licence, training can be supported if needed
