We are seeking an enthusiastic motivated and experienced person to own the position of head coach and administrator.
The Sandy Bay Rowing Club is a Hobart city based club with seventy five members with a strong growth path. We need a head coach to help us build the club both in membership numbers and on the water success.
The Club has members ranging from school aged juniors to experienced masters rowers.
Essential requirements and attributes include;
Rowing coaching or instructing experience
Experience with young people
Enthusiasm and energy for coaching young children
Excellent communication and listening skills
Excellent organisational skills
Reliable and trustworthy
Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
Focus on safety with the ability to anticipate potential hazards and risks
Successful completion of coaching level 2 accreditation or equivalent
Working with vulnerable people clearance
Current First aid certificate
Current Driver’s licence
Current Motorboat licence
