HEAD OF ROWING
Part-time | Ongoing Position
Approximately 24 hours per fortnight
Ongoing Position / Full-time/Part-time


Selection Criteria:


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building effective, professional relationships with
staff, students, parents and rowing community.
• Collaborative and team orientated focus.
• Excellent organisational skills in coordinating and organising events, ie regattas, rowing camps,
training programs.
• Professional experience with respect to Rowing and/or administrative related roles.
• Ability to mentor and guide coaches to ensure the provision of effective training, supporting
student outcomes and engagement.
• Provision of overall care, maintenance and management of the College’s boats, equipment and all
other associated assets and equipment
• Understanding of work health and safety, particularly in a sporting related environment, ensuring
best practice WHS at all times.
• Understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission and ethos of St Patrick’s College as a
Catholic.
• Availability in terms of days and hours of work including flexibility to work more hours during the
rowing season and less hours during the off season.
• First Aid and Aquatic Rescue qualifications.
• Working with Vulnerable People registration.
