ALL SCHOOLS REGATTA 2. Mini-BULLETIN.

NEW ITEMS.

  1. Training outside of regatta hours-Lifejackets are to be worn if you do not have a coach’s boat, on water, within 500 m of the athlete(s) as per MaST regulations.
  2. OARS are not to be left on the pontoons as this is a safety hazard.
  3. There is a computer terminal near the Regatta Office for online crew changes.
  4. Please secure your trailer wheels with chocks not rocks as our mower has been damaged.
  5. For 2000 m events there is will be large red buoy 150M behind (North of) the Start. Row North on your bow (starboard) side past it and then turn and come onto the marshalling area next to it for your race.
  6. Please keep your dogs on a leash and pick up the poop.
  7. Competency of rowers - reminder that if the starter or an umpire deems a rower (particularly 1x) is not competent they have the authority to exclude them from the race. The function of an umpire is not to coach a rower or crew down the course. Competency is being determined by a rower being able to check and back a boat
  8. If you are swimming, please do not climb onto the yellow 500 m markers      

COVID-19.

    • Do not attending if unwell.
    • Wearing a facemask by choice.
    • Washing or sanitising hands.
    • Covering coughs and sneezes.
    • Having sufficient space to keep a reasonable distance from each other.

Food.

  • Easy Oar Canteen will be open with drinks, rolls, toasties, egg and bacon breakfast muffins, lollies, pastries, pies, pasties cold drinks etc.
  • Coffee Shoppe- the best coffees on the Lake!
  • Kerbside Chippies-Fish and Chips on Saturday till late and Sunday.

Construction sites.

  • After the wind event in July, you will see the Start Pontoon structure in many sections on the right hand side of the road leading to the Finish Tower. This is a construction area and there is to be no climbing on the structures.
  • Also at the southern end of the Boat Park are the finger from the Start pontoon, again please keep away

Boat Park & Curfew.

  • No one is allowed in the Boat Park after sunset.
  • THERE IS A STRICT CURFEW OF 10:00 PM through out the complex.
