RT announces new Schools Commission

The Rowing Tasmania Board is pleased to announce the members of the newly formed Schools Commission. The Commission will work with the Board to progress and drive the success of school rowing in Tasmania.

2025 Interstate Regatta Team Announced

Rowing Tasmania is proud to announce the 2025 State Team that will represent Tasmania in the Interstate Regatta at Lake Barrington International Rowing Course later this month.

Rowing Australia Pathways Presentation

The Tasmanian Institute of Sport, in collaboration with Rowing Australia and Rowing Tasmania, will host a presentation focused on Rowing Australia's Pathways - presented by Jason Lane, RA Pathways Head Coach - at New Town Bay Rowing Centre on March 11.

2025 Tasmanian All Schools Championships – UPDATE

The Board of Rowing Tasmania acknowledges the recent changes to School Championships have been less than ideal and the attracted criticism is not unexpected. After consultation with the School Directors of Rowing and Clubs that support school rowers, and on advice of our Regatta Manager, it has been agreed the middle sessions for Saturday and Sunday will be swapped.

Marine and Safety Tasmania has requested we issue yet another reminder to southern clubs and schools to respect the exclusion zone and keep clear of ships berthing at Macquarie Point after a number of incidents were recently reported.
